  • Leadership in Innovation: Proving his commitment to cutting-edge technology, he serves as the Director of the Transradial Program at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital and was named CHI St. Luke’s “Physician of the Year” for his pioneering work introducing advanced cardiac care technology to the region.

A Holistic Approach to Heart Health

While Dr. Patel is highly skilled in performing complex procedures, his primary goal is to optimize heart health using a conservative, preventive framework. He firmly believes in treating the whole person, prioritizing lifestyle changes before pills and procedures. By empowering patients to address nutrition, physical movement, and stress management at the root level, he helps individuals prevent or manage heart disease naturally.

Dr. Patel practices exactly what he preaches. Outside the clinic, you can frequently find him staying active in his local community by:

  • Bicycle Riding: Exploring the bike trails of The Woodlands to keep his own cardiovascular system strong.
  • Practicing Yoga: Utilizing daily yoga and mindfulness sessions to maintain personal flexibility, mental balance, and stress relief.

Life Beyond the Clinic

Outside of his demanding role as an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Patel cherishes his time spent with his family. He enjoys regular quality time with his medical school sweetheart, Dr. Mamta Jain, who is a prominent internist practicing in the same community. Together, they share four beautiful children and their beloved pet dog, Oreo.
